Martial Arts is an important part of a person’s wellbeing. It teaches and fosters integrity, courtesy, self-control, perseverance and indomitable spirit. Sydney based Taekwondo World, led by Master In Cheol Yoo, Byunggee Yoo and Master Danny Biggatton with combined martial arts experience of over 50 years has built a strong foundation of a nurturing environment, exceptional coaching and passion in martial arts.

Taekwondo World also teaches Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), which builds upon fitness and practical self-defence to prepare you if a real life threatening confrontation were to occur. TKD objectives taught in this course are:

  • Effective Kicking
  • Jeet Kune Do (Founded by Bruce Lee)
  • Grappling in the form of Hapkido
  • Boxing
  • Break Falling (How to fall without hurting yourself)
  • Self-Defence

It is very important to have these set of skills as we live our lives because we may be presented with a life threatening situation. Being prepared for the unexpected can boost our confidence when commuting and be more street wise.
